When you finish reading a book:

Reading is an essential skill not just for this class, but for life! In this class, each student will be expected to create their own independent reading goal, check in regularly with me, and show their reading progress through writing or a project. 
I have a classroom library from which students may check out books, and all USD students have access to the San Jose Public Library system, which includes online options like Sora.
